Christmas Day.

We had a happy time this Christmas.
Gran looking at her photo album present.
Presents everywhere.
Something amusing happening!
Byron was a popular guest.
My extremely handsome son George bought me a bottle of 18 year old malt. Just holding the bottle makes me appear drunk. I haven't touched a drop!
A Christmassy corner.
Gran tucks in to her Christmas dinner.
The waiter brings in another plateful.
I wish I'd removed that jar of horse radish sauce from the table.
Reading cracker jokes. George must have been hungry!
Gran and Charlie relax.
Great Grandma's 19th century card game. A family heirloom.
Hope you had a lovely time too.

  1. Wow- I didn't realize you had such a large family. It looks like it was really happy time.

  2. that looks like some celebration you had there. That 19th century card game looks quite interesting.

  3. I like how blogger turns many photos into a slide show now. That was fun!

  4. A proper family Christmas, that's lovely. I'm intrigued by the family heirloom.

  5. Like the photos. Looks like you had an enjoyable Christmas day with your family. Was the Malt good?

  6. It sure looks like you all had a good time and plenty to eat. Now you have to explain who everyone is as you have only mentioned a son before now you produce a family.

  7. Paul: I hope you are OK and not too affected by the recent earthquake.
I haven't started the malt yet. It is to be savoured as an occasional glass, when relaxing by the fireside.
Diane: I shall be explaining my unconventional family life in a blog soon.

  8. Looks like a very busy and relaxing day. Hope that 2012 brings you much joy, happiness and prosperity for you and your family members. Wouldn't hurt if all peoples of the world enjoyed the can only dream!!

  9. What a joyful time you must have had. Everyone looks so happy and at home with each other. Family is what we celebrate.
