Fame At Last.

It has been so long since the interview that I had completely forgotten about it. But yesterday it suddenly appeared. If I hadn't been told by a friend that it was in the paper I would have missed it completely.

Quite a good write up. Now I suppose I had better get some more work done to put in the RAG. RAG is the The Ramshackle Art Gallery not what I call the local paper. That would be rude.

Now please don't worry, fame will not change me and I will still talk to you. Please make an appointment first though. I am going to be a busy man. I shall try and find room in my busy schedule to say hallo.

Autographed copies of this article are available at the very reasonable price of £50.00. Please add another £20.00 to cover post and packing. Available for a limited time only. So hurry up please!

  2. Why don't you have an online gallery on your blog, John? I would love to see your paintings Any smallholding scenes or old farm machinery?

  5. World Famous for sure. That online gallery could make you even more famous. It is a great article.

  6. Oh my, I suppose greater respect is due... By the way, listen to what you are being told about putting up an online gallery--even if only through Etsy. For I would love to include your works in the next Thinking of Christmas Gifts in July series and all to come afterward for as long as you remain open for business.

  8. Yes, yes, yes. I just knew one day I'd know someone famous. And world famous, as well. Wow, I can really brag now, I foresee a queue of people waiting to view your art. Have you a hat I can borrow for the collection... Seriously, congratulations, you deserve recognition.

  10. Delightful views of your work on the gallery. Phil Hewitt wrote an excellent and complimentary article. And despite closeness of the Rapid Solicitors advert, photos show your gallery's charm is no accident.

  11. It was a long wait but definitely worth it. I had thought that you just did not want to share it with us. It was well-written and captured your character well. I hoped to see a bit more art. You have shared a lot of it with us but a bit more would have been lovely. By the way I miss your RAG site even though you posted a few and then lost the muse.

  13. Worldwide acclaim....that means me here all the way in Barbados.
Thank goodness your friend contacted you about the printed article. I thought the paper would have forwarded a copy to your email address at the very least.
It feels so good to finally know someone famous...thanks John.
The online gallery sounds like a good idea.
I'm making my appointment now to keep on listening while you talk to us every day.
You look quite debonair in that photo by the way.

  14. I'll have to pass on the autograph, though I'm sure I'll be kicking myself later when you're even more world-famous and anything with your signature on it becomes a valuable collector's item.

Anyway, congratulations on the recognition; it's well deserved.
