The wthr ws nc today for a chng. The lst cpl of weeks have bn absolutely wfl. Rn, rn, rn! Mind you thr are stll a lot of clds in th sky, and the weather frcst is nt very prmsng for the nxt wk or so. Btwn you nd me thgh, I dn't blv thy can rlly forecast mr thn a dy or tw ahead, and thy nrly always gt tht wrng!

I rd smwhr recently, tht about 50% of ppl can mng prfctly OK wtht vowels. I wndr how true tht is? Hv you mngd to rd ths?
I guess I am in the elite 50% because I read it prfctly.

ReplyDeleteI mngd t rd ths :-). I once started learning a shorthand system called teeline and it is based on the method of removing all vowels and double letters.

ReplyDeleteHa! I have devised a way to read very, very fast. I suppose I must do what is done above, removing the vowels, since I had no problem reading the above. I also gloss over all proper names...each name in a story is just sort of "that name" in my head, I don't really read it. Maybe that is why I can't stand fiction, too many names to keep up with!
