Your foster mother sounds like my mother; as a child I never learned to stand up to her and it was still hard when I was an adult.Valeriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12099030819314552958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961960550151154824.post-73446774020204543662011-06-22T05:21:50.011-07:002011-06-22T05:21:50.011-07:00She was obviously a coward, to need to pick on a c...She was obviously a coward, to need to pick on a child and then stop once you retaliated. I can't help but wonder what makes people behave that way towards children. I'd like to think that she eventually got help for her problems and came through it a better person (the world would be a better place if everybody received help to wipe away such violent traits) but I doubt she did.

I'm glad you've come through it and haven't continued the cycle of abuse with your own family, which sadly so often happens.Sharon Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17300818778040143359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961960550151154824.post-36673776870631276482011-06-22T05:01:43.655-07:002011-06-22T05:01:43.655-07:00As I have said before, a little boy wise beyond hi...As I have said before, a little boy wise beyond his years.
Jane xJane and Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08102086552682194819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961960550151154824.post-24678907849976324602011-06-21T22:25:01.522-07:002011-06-21T22:25:01.522-07:00I owe you an ice cream! What I really wish I knew is why on earth do they allow monsters like that anywhere near children, much less in charge of caring for them? My children were disciplined and polite and have grown into productive and happy adults. But I had to be constantly aware of what other adults were doing. It is an amazement to me that adults who look "normal" take such delight in bullying children. The worst part is that when they are confronted about it, they are astounded that anyone would even think such a thing. After all, they are "nice" people. And there are so many of them. I just don't understand. I just noticed that I am on my soap box again. But I still owe you that ice cream. Well done.Emma Springfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10543689047463574012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961960550151154824.post-16964651254039089252011-06-21T21:22:36.010-07:002011-06-21T21:22:36.010-07:00I'd like it if people like that always got wha...I'd like it if people like that always got what they deserved.
